Our classrooms are designed to meet the specific needs of developing children. We incorporate equipment, furniture and other materials that nurture children's sense of security and belonging, while promoting independence and hands on interaction with their environment. Our classrooms and small class size allows for active, pro-social communication and exploration.
Learning to Grow Academy is located in Indian Hills, a quiet residential neighborhood in Edina. This peaceful natural and neighborhood setting will inspire your child to actively explore and discover the natural world around them. We have the good fortune of being surround by woods and wildlife, including deer and wild turkeys which make for great nature exploration. We are also located blocks away from Creek Valley Elementary, Valley View Middle and Edina High Schools. Our convenient location, approximately a mile from highways 62, 100 and 169, allows us to serve families commuting along those highways.
We are housed in St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, however we are not religiously affiliated. For more information about St Alban's Episcopal Church, please visit their website at www.stalbansedina.org.

It is extremely important for young children to be outside at least 45 minutes daily whenever possible. Children learn so much more when they can actively explore the natural environment. The neighborhood, playground and the woods surrounding our facility are a few ways we encourage children to explore the outdoors. We are grateful for the ability to provide hands on natural experiences in our outdoor space.
