Our Classrooms

Our classrooms are designed to meet the specific needs of developing children. We have incorporated  equipment, furniture and other materials that will nurture children's sense of security and belonging, while promoting independence, exploration and interaction with their environment. Our classrooms and small glass size allows for independence, pro-social interaction and exploration.

Learning to Grow Academy is located in Indian Hills, a quiet residential neighborhood in Edina. This  peaceful natural and neighborhood setting will inspire your child to explore and discover the natural world around them. We have the good fortune of being surround by trees/woods, which make for great nature exploration. We are housed in the St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, however we are not a religious program. For more information about St Alban's Episcopal Church, please visit their website at www.stalbansedina.org. We are also located close to the local elementary, middle and high schools, less that a mile from highway 62 and 169.

We believe it is important for young children's development to be outside at least 30 minutes per day if the weather allows. We will be exploring the neighborhood or playground attatched to the building at our facility. We  also have the ability to explore and provide hands on nature experiences due to the location and surroundings of our center .
